The Middle East is one of the largest markets for medical tourism in the world. According to Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, chairman of the Private Hospital Association of Jordan, “The Private Hospital Association of Jordan is doing all what is needed to keep Jordan the first choice for the medical tourism patients from the Middle East and the world, by helping the Jordanian hospitals to apply the highest quality care at competitive prices and to get international accreditation and help them in promoting their services all over the world."

Jordan “unveils” images of magnificent destinations

The Jordan Tourism Board is “unveiling” a unique image of Jordan to coincide with the royalstate visit to Italy by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, which will start on Monday, October 19, 2009.
The royal visit, upon the invitation from Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, will include talks with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and senior Italian officials on means to foster bilateral ties. It will also include a speech by His Majesty the King at the Jordanian-Italian Business Forum.
