Al-Issawi welcomed Al-Dabbas and Reviewed the Tourism Sector Amid the Current Crisis

His Excellency Yousef Al-Issawi, Chief of the Jordanian Royal Court, welcomed on Sunday, Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas, Vice Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association and a board member of the Jordan Tourism Board. The meeting featured an in-depth discussion of the current state of the tourism sector amid prevailing conditions, examining the accelerating challenges as well as promising opportunities that require coordinated efforts and optimal utilization of available resources.

During the meeting, Al-Issawi was briefed on multiple aspects of the tourism sector today, including strategies to mitigate the impact of the regional crisis on the industry and its workforce.

The meeting reflects a participatory approach that demonstrates the Royal Court’s commitment to direct engagement with representatives of vital sectors. It included a review of the main obstacles facing the tourism sector, alongside the presentation of practical solutions aimed at strengthening its resilience and sustainability, in recognition of the sector’s critical role as a key contributor to the national economy.

Mr. Al-Dabbas expressed his sincere appreciation to the President of the Royal Court for the warm reception at the “House of Jordanians,” emphasizing that the meeting represents a tangible reflection of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II to enhance direct communication with citizens, closely assess challenges, and work collaboratively to transform them into real opportunities for growth and development.

He affirmed that the meeting aligns with calls for increased joint efforts and innovative visions during this critical period, reinforcing Jordan’s position as a leading tourism destination capable of adapting to changes and achieving sustainable development.
