The Jordan Hotels Association (JHA) organized a training course titled “Strategic Leadership Skills in the Hospitality Industry”, targeting employees from hotels in Amman. The course aimed to strengthen leadership and management competencies, enhance participants’ ability to effectively lead teams, and develop strategic decision-making skills that contribute to improving operational performance and elevating the quality of services provided to hotel guests.
The training was delivered by Kenan Karasneh, who introduced participants to the fundamentals of strategic leadership and its significance within the hospitality sector. The course also covered building high-performing teams, strategic planning and decision-making, change management, and employee motivation, all of which contribute to improving operational efficiency and increasing productivity across hotel establishments.
The program further featured practical exercises and interactive discussions that enabled participants to exchange experiences, examine the leadership challenges facing the hospitality sector, and explore effective solutions and best practices for fostering a positive work environment, enhancing guest satisfaction, and strengthening the competitiveness of hotels.
This training forms part of the Jordan Hotels Association’s ongoing professional development program aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of the hospitality workforce. It reflects the Association’s commitment to investing in human capital as the cornerstone of service excellence and to keeping pace with the evolving demands of the hospitality industry, thereby supporting the competitiveness of Jordan’s tourism sector at both the regional and international levels.
