The General Manager of the Jordan Hotels Association, Dr. Reham Al-Zughier, welcomed participants to the training course titled “Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace,” emphasizing that investing in human capital is a fundamental pillar for the development of the hospitality sector. She noted that building a workforce equipped with both professional competencies and interpersonal skills has a direct impact on enhancing the quality of services provided.
Dr. Al-Zughier highlighted the Association’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of hotel establishments through specialized training programs that keep pace with the latest developments in the hospitality industry, while strengthening employees’ readiness and improving their professional capabilities.
The training course, delivered by Kifah Khamis for hotel establishments in Amman, reflected this commitment by focusing on developing participants’ emotional intelligence skills, emotional management, effective communication, teamwork, and practical applications based on real-life scenarios encountered in hotel work environments.
The course concluded with the presentation of certificates of participation to the trainees, amid strong engagement from participants, who emphasized the importance of such programs in enhancing their professional skills and elevating performance standards across the hospitality sector.
