The Jordan Hotels Association concluded its training courses for hotel establishments in the Dead Sea area for the year 2024 by organizing a specialized first aid course on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. This initiative comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to enhance the skills and competencies of employees in the hospitality sector.

The course targeted hotel sector employees and focused on how to handle emergencies that hotel staff may encounter when dealing with guests. It covered a range of essential topics aimed at preparing employees to manage various emergency situations. These included handling fractures and injuries, performing CPR techniques for adults and children, managing bleeding, burns, choking, and drowning incidents, as well as dealing with poisoning and its types and providing the appropriate first aid.

The course was designed as practical training, enabling employees to acquire the skills necessary to respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies, thus enhancing their ability to provide effective primary care in a timely manner.

The Jordan Hotels Association stated that organizing this course is part of its strategy to equip hospitality sector employees with the knowledge and skills required to ensure guest safety and achieve the highest standards of service quality. The Association emphasized that such training courses play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety within hotels, as employees gain the ability to act promptly and effectively in critical situations. This contributes to maintaining guest safety and providing a secure environment for them.
