On Monday, May 20, 2025, the Jordan Hotels Association held a specialized training workshop titled “Menu Planning and Analysis for Food and Beverage,” attended by a select group of professionals from the hospitality and hotel sector. This initiative is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of those working in the industry.
The workshop was led by trainer Ghazi Batarseh, who covered several key topics, most notably: the fundamentals of professional menu planning for food and beverage, and methods for analyzing menus in terms of cost, profitability, and suitability for the target audience.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of menu design in creating a strong first impression for guests, its role in increasing guest satisfaction and enhancing their overall experience—factors that directly contribute to higher revenues and the strengthened reputation of hotel establishments.
The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness and skill levels among professionals in this field, equipping them with precise analytical tools that support effective strategic decision-making regarding pricing and service quality.
This workshop is part of a broader series of training activities organized by the Association, aimed at elevating the standards of hotel operations in Jordan and achieving excellence in the delivery of tourism services.
