Jordan Hotels Association Participates in the First Tourism and Cultural Heritage Working Group Meeting under Jordan’s NDC 3.0 Update

As part of the process of updating Jordan’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0), the Jordan Hotels Association participated in the first meeting of the Tourism and Cultural Heritage Sector Working Group, held on Thursday, 22 January 2026, at the Ministry of Environment, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

This participation reaffirms the Association’s role in representing the hotel sector and conveying its priorities and needs, particularly with regard to climate change and environmental sustainability issues. It aims to contribute to integrating sustainable practices within the hotel sector and supporting national climate action policies, in line with Jordan’s environmental commitments.

The meeting seeks to strengthen collaborative efforts among relevant stakeholders to develop a comprehensive national document that reflects Jordan’s efforts to address climate change challenges, enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector, protect natural and cultural heritage, and support the advancement of sustainable tourism in the Kingdom.
