The participants also explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in digital marketing and exchange expertise in tourism destination management.
H.E. Dr. Imad Hijazeen emphasised that the next phase requires moving beyond traditional promotional approaches towards high-impact partnerships that translate into tangible growth in tourist arrivals, increased hotel overnight stays, and higher tourism expenditure. He also highlighted the importance of aligning government and diplomatic efforts with those of the private sector to enhance Jordan’s competitiveness and reinforce its position as a diverse and sustainable global tourism destination.
The participation of the Jordan Hotels Association, represented by its Vice Chairman, Hani Al-Dabbas, reflects the Association’s commitment to supporting national efforts to strengthen international tourism cooperation and expand partnerships with target markets. These efforts aim to increase inbound tourist arrivals to the Kingdom, improve hotel occupancy rates, and enhance the hotel sector’s contribution to the national economy.
