The Jordan Hotels Association (JHA) organized a specialized training workshop titled “Hotel Accounting and Cost Management” for employees of hotels in Amman. The workshop was held as part of the Association’s ongoing training program aimed at enhancing the financial and administrative competencies of hospitality professionals and strengthening their ability to manage financial operations in line with industry best practices.
The workshop was delivered by Hana Badawi, who covered a range of specialized topics, including the fundamentals of hotel accounting, the preparation and analysis of financial reports, cost management principles, hotel service costing methodologies, and effective approaches to expense control and cost optimization. These topics were designed to enhance operational efficiency and improve the financial performance of hotel establishments.
The workshop also emphasized the practical application of accounting concepts through real-life case studies and examples drawn from the hospitality industry. This hands-on approach enabled participants to strengthen their financial analysis skills, support informed decision-making, and improve resource management, ultimately contributing to stronger organizational performance and long-term business sustainability.
