As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the professional capabilities of human resources across the hotel and tourism sectors, the Jordan Hotels Association conducted a short training course entitled “Tourism Marketing,” delivered by trainer Hani Juma’a, with the participation of employees from member hotels.
The course aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in tourism marketing while equipping them with up-to-date approaches and practices aligned with international standards and industry developments.
The training covered a range of key topics, including the fundamentals of tourism marketing, tourist behavior and decision-making, market segmentation and targeting strategies, and the tourism marketing mix. Participants also explored digital marketing and online platform management, the development of strategic marketing plans, and emerging trends and challenges shaping the tourism industry, including sustainable tourism, recovery strategies, and adapting to global market changes.
This training course reflects the Jordan Hotels Association’s commitment to empowering professionals in the hospitality sector, strengthening their marketing capabilities, and enabling them to keep pace with the rapid developments taking place across the tourism and hospitality industries. Such efforts contribute to enhancing service quality and strengthening the competitiveness of Jordan’s hotel establishments.
Through its Training Department, the Association continues to deliver practical, needs-based training programs for member hotels, led by experienced trainers and industry specialists. These initiatives support the Association’s vision of fostering the sustainable development of Jordan’s hotel sector and advancing the skills and capabilities of its human capital.
