The Jordan Hotels Association conducted a training workshop entitled “Hotel Housekeeping” in the city of Petra. The workshop was delivered by trainer Mohammad Hijjawi and attended by a group of hotel employees, with the aim of enhancing practical knowledge of housekeeping operations management and the application of modern professional practices.

The workshop covered housekeeping procedures and operational standards, beginning with the proper selection, handling, and safe use of cleaning materials, and extending to effective methods for cleaning and arranging guest rooms and public areas in accordance with the highest quality standards.

It also highlighted the importance of operational details within the housekeeping department and their role in improving cleanliness standards, organizing facilities, and enhancing the overall guest experience within hospitality establishments.

This workshop forms part of the training programs offered by the Jordan Hotels Association to hospitality sector professionals, supporting the development of practical knowledge and improving performance in line with the evolving requirements of the hotel industry.
