In continuation of the series of awareness sessions organized by the Ministry of Tourism and antiquities, Jordan Hotels Association participated in the awareness day to introduce students to the job opportunities available in the tourism and hotel sector in particular at the University of Jordan-Faculty of Archaeology and tourism
The Ministry of Tourism and antiquities in cooperation with the University of Jordan, in partnership with specialized tourism associations, organized today, Wednesday, an awareness day to introduce students to the job opportunities available in the tourism sector in the presence of the vice president of the University of Jordan, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abu Karki .
On the other hand, the vice president of the Jordanian Hotels Association, Mr. Hussein hilalat, participated in the awareness day and introduced students to the job opportunities available in the hotel sector and more about the skills required for their entry into the hotel labor market and how to exploit those skills and excellence in the workplace .the association always works to support Jordanian youth and their entry into the market and training to qualify them for their involvement in the hotel sector.
The Awareness Day aims to introduce the job opportunities available in the tourism hotels and restaurants, offices, tourism and travel companies, handicrafts and traditional industries, the value of income from the tourism sector and the skills required to engage in the tourism labor market, gender integration and women’s empowerment through economic participation in small, medium and micro enterprises.
During the Awareness Day, a dialogue session was attended by all representatives of tourism associations and other interested parties, as well as many university students and job seekers in the tourism sector.
