Jordan Hotels Association Holds Training Course on Housekeeping Cost Management

As part of its ongoing series of training courses and professional development programs aimed at enhancing the skills of hotel sector employees, the Jordan Hotels Association held a training course entitled “Housekeeping Cost Management,” with the participation of a number of employees from hotel establishments in Amman.

The course focused on enhancing participants’ skills in managing and monitoring housekeeping department costs, efficiently handling expenses, materials, and supplies, as well as applying effective inventory and stockroom management practices. These skills contribute to reducing waste and ensuring the optimal use of available resources.

The training program included a range of practical exercises and case studies relevant to the realities of hotel operations. Topics covered included cost and expense calculations, as well as mechanisms for managing and monitoring inventory, providing participants with an opportunity to apply the concepts and knowledge addressed throughout the course.

The course reflects the Jordan Hotels Association’s commitment to continuing to provide specialized training programs that address the needs of hotel establishments and support the professional development of their employees, thereby contributing to improved operational efficiency and enhanced service quality across the hotel sector.
