The Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), represented by its Training Department, organized a training workshop entitled “First Aid Principles” at Century Park Hotel, with the participation of a number of employees from the hospitality and hotel sector. The workshop forms part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of hospitality professionals and promote a culture of occupational health and safety across hotel establishments.

The workshop aimed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively and promptly to emergency situations, thereby contributing to the safety and well-being of both employees and guests while reducing the risk of workplace injuries within hotel environments.

The training covered a range of key topics, including general safety principles, emergency response procedures for choking, strokes, fractures, wounds, and burns, as well as the correct methods for administering first aid in various emergency situations, in accordance with internationally recognized best practices.

The workshop also featured a practical, hands-on training session, providing participants with the opportunity to practice essential first aid techniques under the supervision of a specialized trainer. This practical component strengthened their ability to respond quickly and effectively to accidents and emergencies within hotel facilities.

This workshop is part of a series of specialized training programs implemented by the Training Department of the Jordan Hotels Association, reflecting the Association’s commitment to developing the capabilities of professionals in the hotel sector.
