The Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, organized a specialized workshop on Tuesday 7th of July, 2026.On the mechanisms and procedures for integrating with the Sanad application. The workshop brought together representatives of hotel establishments from across the Kingdom, both in person and virtually, as part of ongoing efforts to support digital transformation and enhance the adoption of government e-services within the hotel sector.
The workshop was inaugurated by JHA Chairman Hussein Hilalat, in the presence of members of the Association’s Board of Directors and the Association’s General Manager. In his opening remarks, he welcomed the participants and commended the Ministry’s pivotal role in advancing Jordan’s digital transformation agenda and developing government digital services. He also emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Ministry and the Association in enabling hotel establishments to complete the integration process with the Sanad application.
The Sanad application serves as the Government of Jordan’s official digital platform, providing access to a wide range of electronic government services. It contributes to simplifying procedures, accelerating transaction processing, and enhancing the reliability and accessibility of digital services.
The integration of hotel establishments with the application forms part of the national efforts to modernize government digital services and enhance the quality of services provided to the tourism and hospitality sector.
The workshop featured a presentation delivered by specialists from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, who outlined the mechanisms and procedures for integrating with the Sanad application, as well as the technical and administrative steps required to complete the integration process. The session also included a comprehensive discussion during which participants’ questions were addressed and the necessary requirements for successful integration were clarified.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from representatives of hotel establishments, who raised a number of inquiries and observations regarding the application and the integration requirements. Ministry specialists responded to these questions, helping facilitate the integration process and support its timely completion.
The Jordan Hotels Association reaffirmed its commitment to continuing coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the relevant stakeholders, while providing ongoing guidance and technical support to hotel establishments throughout the implementation process. These efforts aim to ensure the successful completion of integration requirements and further advance digital transformation across Jordan’s hospitality sector.
