The Jordan Hotels Association held a training course yesterday, Tuesday, 13/05/2026, titled “Housekeeping Procedures,” targeting employees working in hotel establishments in the capital, Amman. The course was delivered by trainer Mohammad Hijjawi.
The training focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals and modern procedures of hotel housekeeping operations, while enhancing the professional competencies of employees in this field, contributing to improved service quality and the maintenance of operational standards within hotel establishments.
The program covered room cleaning and preparation procedures, housekeeping arrangements for guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, as well as proper handling techniques for housekeeping tools and equipment in accordance with approved professional standards.
The course also highlighted the importance of adhering to hygiene and public safety standards, organizing workflow within the department, and monitoring service quality and performance. In addition, it aimed to strengthen employees’ ability to efficiently and professionally manage daily operational requirements.
The training included a practical and hands-on component conducted within the hotel premises, where participants engaged in field exercises designed to enhance their practical skills and apply the operational procedures followed in housekeeping departments.
The sessions witnessed active engagement from participants through the exchange of practical experiences and discussions on daily challenges within the hotel work environment, adding a practical dimension to the course content.
The Jordan Hotels Association continues to implement training programs targeting employees in the hotel sector, with the aim of developing human resources and enhancing the quality of services provided within the hospitality industry.
