The Board of Directors of the Jordan Hotels Association visited the Electricity Distribution Company and held a meeting with the company represented by Chairman Dr. Hazem Al-Rahahleh and General Manager Eng. Reem Hamdan.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Association Hussein Hilalat and members of the Board provided a detailed overview of the challenges currently facing the hotel sector as a result of the ongoing regional developments and the significant decline in occupancy rates. They highlighted the severe impact on key tourism destinations, particularly Petra, Madaba, and the Dead Sea areas, which fall within the service coverage of the Electricity Distribution Company and rely heavily on inbound tourism.

Dr. Hazem Al-Rahahleh and Eng. Reem Hamdan welcomed the Chairman and Board members of the Association and expressed their understanding of the difficult circumstances facing the hotel sector.
