The Jordan Hotels Association conducted a training course titled “Supervisory Skills in Housekeeping Management,” targeting employees working in hotel establishments in the capital, Amman. The course was delivered by trainer Mohammad Hajawi.
The training focused on developing supervisory skills and enhancing operational efficiency within housekeeping departments, contributing to improved service quality and stronger operational performance. The program covered topics related to approved professional standards, effective management methods, and mechanisms for organizing workflow and distributing responsibilities in a manner that ensures clarity of roles and achieves operational efficiency.
The training also addressed the preparation of work schedules in line with operational requirements, as well as organizing departmental tasks in a balanced manner that supports productivity and maintains smooth workflow.
The sessions witnessed active interaction among participants through discussions of daily challenges and the exchange of practical experiences, which added a practical dimension to the course content. The training also reviewed modern practices in managing and operating hotel departments, with a focus on rationalizing energy and water consumption and adopting approaches that enhance efficiency while reducing operational costs.
The Jordan Hotels Association continues to implement a variety of training programs targeting employees in the hotel sector, aiming to enhance workforce competencies and elevate the level of services provided, in line with the ongoing development requirements of the hospitality industry.
