Jordan
Within the framework of joint efforts to develop the tourism sector, a training program was implemented in collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Hotels Association. The program targeted staff from tourism directorates in the governorates of Ma’an, Karak, Tafileh, Zarqa, Jerash, Balqa, Madaba, Irbid, and Ajloun, and was conducted over several days.
The program comes within the framework of enhancing staff competencies and elevating the quality of tourism services. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in partnership with the Jordan Hotels Association, designed and delivered the training modules in line with best professional practices, reflecting the integration of roles between the public and private sectors.
The program also included a practical component, where coordination was made with a number of hotels to conduct field visits. These visits provided participants with firsthand exposure to various hotel facilities and operational processes, with the aim of linking theoretical knowledge to practical application and enriching participants’ experience.
This collaboration underscores the importance of an effective partnership between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Hotels Association in developing human resources and enhancing the quality of tourism services across the Kingdom’s governorates.
