The Vice Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Hani Al-Dabbas, along with several board members, participated in the introductory workshop on the National Inclusive Tourism Strategy. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in collaboration with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, with the participation of representatives from both the public and private sectors.
The workshop aimed to present the key pillars of the strategy and the mechanisms for its implementation, as part of a national vision to develop a more inclusive and accessible tourism sector. Emphasis was placed on enhancing the readiness of tourist sites and facilities, and improving the quality of services provided in line with global best practices.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of enabling persons with disabilities, the elderly, and families to access a seamless and enjoyable tourism experience, while emphasizing the role of institutional partnerships in supporting the strategy’s implementation and developing the tourism infrastructure.
The event featured an interactive discussion during which participants shared a range of practical observations and proposals aimed at strengthening the strategy’s application and solidifying Jordan’s position as a destination accessible to all.
