Combating Human Trafficking

Dead Sea - Jordan

On Monday, September 1, 2025, the Jordan Hotels Association held a specialized training course on combating human trafficking, in cooperation with the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department. The training targeted employees of hotel establishments in the Dead Sea area.

The course aimed to strengthen the tourism security system in the Kingdom by raising employees’ awareness on how to identify and interact with victims of human trafficking in line with approved standards and procedures, in addition to understanding evidence collection mechanisms and relevant legal processes. These efforts contribute to safeguarding tourism, protecting tourist sites, and enhancing the sense of security among citizens and visitors alike.

This training falls within the Association’s ongoing efforts to develop the skills of hotel sector employees, as it continues to organize similar courses across different regions of the Kingdom, thereby reinforcing Jordan’s position as a safe and distinguished tourist destination both regionally and internationally.
