A graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, attended by the Chairman of the Tourism and Heritage Committee in the Senate, Engineer Abdul Hakim Al-Hindi, and the Head of the Defense Resources and Investment Management Directorate, to celebrate the graduation of 40 employees who participated in an intensive training course on hospitality skills at the Armed Forces Hotel.
The Director of the Defense Resources and Investment Management Directorate highlighted that the collaboration between the Directorate, the Jordanian Company for Hospitality and Tourism Education, and the Jordan Hotels Association significantly contributes to strengthening relationships among the parties, leading to the development of employees’ skills in the sector to enhance performance and the quality of services provided.
Senator Engineer Al-Hindi congratulated the graduates on successfully completing the course, expressing his anticipation of seeing them excel in their professional roles, contributing to the enhancement of the tourism sector in the Kingdom. He emphasized that such initiatives represent a vital step toward achieving sustainable development in this key sector, which is a significant contributor to the national economy.
The course spanned 20 accredited hours for each field, aiming to enhance employees’ practical skills and develop their capabilities according to the highest standards in the hospitality sector.
The employees received advanced training in critical areas, including food and beverage service, communication skills, housekeeping, and basic culinary skills.
