The General Manager of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Mustafa Kawash, attended the Jordanian Cooperative’s celebration of the International Day of Cooperatives 2024, organized by the Jordan Cooperative Corporation under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Agriculture Engineer Khaled Hneifat, on Saturday. The event was held under the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better Future for All,” emphasizing the importance of cooperatives in the sustainable development process, enhancing the capacities of cooperators and local communities hosting cooperatives economically and socially, and contributing to addressing the issues of poverty and unemployment.

The celebration included a tribute by the Minister of Agriculture to the Jordan Hotels Association and all supporting entities of the 11th Cooperative Ministerial Conference for the Asia-Pacific region, which was attended by companies, institutions, international organizations, and cooperative associations. They were presented with a plaque from the Cooperative Corporation in recognition of their contribution to the success of the conference, which was hosted by the corporation in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Center for Agricultural Research at the Dead Sea in late April.
