Through the participation of the Jordan Hotels Association of “workshop to disseminate the results of water audit studies”, the workshop aims to present the general findings and recommendations of the institutions concerned, on Wednesday 29/5/2024 at the Movinpeck-Amman Hotel.
The water conservation project funded by USAID carried out a water audit study at a number of the most water-consuming institutions in Amman through the Dar Al Omran Company, where the institutions were selected in cooperation and coordination with the Water Company – Miyahuna LLC and the Jordan Hotels Association, where some institutions from the tourism sector included (Hotels, tourist restaurants), hospitals, student residences and prisons, Dar Al Amran Company presented the general findings and recommendations of the reports with the relevant institutions.
It is worth mentioning that the overall objective of the water conservation project (WEC) is to provide 70 million cubic meters of water in five years, by developing market systems that encourage the adoption of water consumption rational techniques and practices, and will also support government efforts to design a set of incentives that will contribute to water conservation in all agricultural, industrial, household and commercial sectors.
