The Jordan Hotels Association, in cooperation with Makanti project funded by USAID, held two interactive sessions to explore the feasibility of childcare services for hotel staff and one session to enable women to work in the hotel sector. This meeting aims to identify strategies and plans to improve the working environment and reduce the occupational turnover rates in the hotel sector.
The session was held in Amman on Wednesday 21-02-2024, targeting the five and four stars hotels for human resources department in Amman and the Dead Sea.
The General Manager of the Association, Mr. Mustafa Kawash, welcomed the attendance and stressed the importance of the existing and effective cooperation with USAID, noting that this project aims to support and develop the hotel and tourism sector in the Kingdom.
The Association also strives to improve hotel services and enhance the working environment, particularly with regard to childcare for hotel staff, and to develop effective strategies to achieve its objectives that are in the interest of its members.
