The Jordan Hotels Association held a workshop titled “Techniques for Increasing Sales in the Food and Beverage Department” on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, via Zoom. The workshop targeted the hotel sector across all governorates of the Kingdom, covering all classifications, and was presented by Mr. Ghazi Batarseh.

A total of 111 employees attended the workshop, which included discussions on several important topics aimed at improving sales performance in this sector.

The workshop covered the following points:

1. Complete knowledge of all sections of the menu, its items, and prices.
2. Selling menu items by offering alternatives and additional suggestions.
3. Introducing new products and describing them in ways that encourage customers and increase sales.
4. Avoiding confusion for customers and knowing how to present food and menu items.
5. Focusing on customer satisfaction and asking about their level of satisfaction with the food and service provided.

This workshop is part of a series of efforts aimed at improving service quality and increasing sales in the hotel sector in the Kingdom.
