Dead Sea - Jordan
As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the skills of hospitality sector employees, the Jordan Hotels Association organized a training course titled “Menu Engineering” on Wednesday, December 13, 2024, conducted by trainer Ghazi Batarseh.
The course targeted Food and Beverage Supervisors, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to professionally analyze and design food menus, enhancing guest experiences and achieving the strategic goals of hotel establishments.
The course covered key topics, including the importance of menu planning in the hospitality industry, selecting ingredients based on cost and customer preferences, and learning strategies to improve menu design to boost sales and guide customers toward more profitable options. Participants also discussed pricing strategies for dishes, aligning them with costs and expected returns, while focusing on innovation in presenting new ideas that attract customers and enhance their experience.
The course also addressed the latest trends and techniques in the food and beverage industry, highlighting the impact of technology on menu design and food presentation methods. The goal was to enable participants to create dynamic menus that cater to diverse customer expectations and improve the efficiency of Food and Beverage department management.
The Jordan Hotels Association continues to organize innovative training programs to enhance the skills of hospitality sector employees, contributing to the overall performance of tourist establishments and elevating the quality of service provided to guests.
This course is part of a series held by the Association for Dead Sea hotels, aligning with its vision to support and develop the hospitality sector in Jordan.
